AVAILABLE FOR SALE
The
Corporation is helping revival of potentially viable units lying closed
due to non-technical/economical reasons. At present the Corporation is
having around 900 such units in the field of paper, Steel Re-rolling
Mills, Pharmaceuticals, Cement, Plastic, Industrial Gases, Food and Agro
Based units etc. In addition to it, the Corporation is also having ready
furnished hotels, & small nursing homes and Industrial Sheds.
The
Corporation is having an understanding with the UPSIDC, NOIDA & D.I.
for not charging any additional levy/compensation for transfer of land.
Similarly the Corporation is also having an agreement with the
Electricity Department for providing power connection to the new
management without charging any old dues/arrears against the previous
management/owners. The Trade Tax Dept. also allows benefit of exemption
to the new management during the balance period for which tax exemption
was applicable to the original project. Additional financial help by way
of term's loan/ working capital loan is also provided on merits in the
deserving cases.
The entrepreneurs
taking over such assets are benefited by way of reduction in the cost of
project and gestation period. The details of assets available for
sale/transfer to the new management are available with Assets Disposal
Cell at Head Office as well as in all Regional Offices of the
Corporation.
